Operations Manager Mitigation
Position Summary

Team Olson believes together we can make today better! As the Operations Manager of Mitigation you will play a pivotal role, leading, motivating, and supporting the Production/Restoration division to ensure customer satisfaction, revenue growth, profit growth, management development, and staff development. They oversee all operational activities and pursue operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities


Operational Management

Oversee the management of operational activities and the efficiency of existing organizational processes
Manage staff development of the Production/Restoration division.
Work closely with the MUO Market Leadership to ensure operations remain compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
Develop, implement, and oversee protocols to maintain facility, vehicles, equipment, and consumables.
Review, document, and discuss operational outcomes and key measures with the MUO Market Leadership
Maintain the development of leadership and management skills, as well as Restoration expertise.
Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines.
Train, Recruit, Retain and Manage the Production/Restoration personnel.
Fleet management, ensure vehicles are mechanically maintained and prepared for daily activities.

Insurance & Client Communication

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure a positive customer, client and adjuster experience.

Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination

Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization.



Project Management & Documentation

Utilize job mgmt software to oversee project scheduling, compliance items, and field updates.
Oversee and maintain team accuracy of job notes, photos, and moisture readings in job mgmt software, ensuring consistency with estimating platforms.
Schedule crews and resources to provide service on active projects.
Communicate workload and scheduling conflicts early; consult leadership as needed.
Coordinate and oversee Restoration services with crews and subcontractors.
For T&M projects, ensure daily entries, crew notes, and material logs are accurately documented and turned in by the team.


Training and Development

Train and develop staff on scoping and documentation required on every project.
Train and develop staff in proper use of tech and applications associated with restoration services.


Operational Billing & Expenses

Notify accounting when invoices for building/vehicle maintenance are payment ready.
Oversee and maintain warehouse supply and order for current operational needs ensuring all invoices are turned into accounting.
Other Duties as deemed appropriate for the role by Team Olson Executive Leadership


Qualifications

Proven ability to manage multiple people simultaneously.
Comprehensive understanding of water, fire, mold and all restoration processes.
Proficiency in job mgmt software, estimating platforms, moisture reporting and Google Suites.
Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills.
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and compliance accuracy.
Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
