Probationary Position 9:45AM - 1:15PM
Description of Duties:
  1. Washes dishes, pots and pans by hand or machine.
  2. Cleans, washes, and otherwise prepares vegetables and fruit for cooking.
  3. Assists in preparation of salads and desserts.
  4. Sweeps, mops, and cleans kitchen.
  5. Assumes cooking duties with attention to minimize waste of food and other products.
  6. Prepares a variety of written reports.
  7. Assists in stocking inventory and in maintaining inventory records.
  8. Operates kitchen appliances and other small equipment.
  9. Acts in the capacity of a line server.
  10. Acts in the capacity of a grill cook.
  11. Acts in the capacity of a cashier.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned by the cook manager or food service supervisor.

Qualifications:
  1. Friendly and cooperative attitude toward students, staff and co-workers.
  2. Working knowledge of the proper methods of preparing and serving food.
  3. Working knowledge of current sanitization codes, requirements and HACCP methods.
  4. Ability to follow oral and written directions.
  5. Neat and clean in appearance.
  6. Moderate lifting.
