Job description

The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for a Food Service Helper to assist in the kitchen of  Wilson High School (East).  Applications will be reviewed and selected candidates will be contacted for a screening interview.
*Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins.  
Job Description:  This position is responsible for the preparation and serving of food in the cafeteria. This position is also responsible for cleaning kitchen equipment and non-disposable dining ware and serves as a cashier on the food service line.
Appointment:  10 months, part-time
Hours:  5 hours per day, 8:00AM - 1:15PM
Salary/Rate of Pay:  Starting at $16.09 per hour, based on previous experience
Benefits:  NYS Pension, paid leave time
Start Date:  September 2025
