What is National Service?

National Service refers to a program or period of service, typically mandated or encouraged by a government, where individuals contribute to their nation’s welfare. The aim is to foster civic responsibility, promote national unity, and support societal development. Requirements and formats for National Service vary widely between countries, with some making it compulsory and others offering it as a voluntary opportunity.
