POSITION SUMMARY
The Service Advisor is responsible for building strong customer relationships, delivering an exceptional service experience, and helping customers make informed decisions about their vehicles' maintenance and repair. This individual serves as the primary point of contact between the customer and the service department, ensuring that every customer receives professional, transparent, and timely communication throughout the repair process.
Requirements
SERVICE ADVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally while delivering a world-class customer experience.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms and service requests.
  • Communicate recommended maintenance and repair services in a clear, professional manner.
  • Educate customers on vehicle needs, safety concerns, and preventative maintenance recommendations.
  • Prepare accurate repair estimates and secure customer authorization for repairs.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding vehicle status, repair progress, and completion timelines.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and efficient workflow.
  • Review completed repairs with customers and explain services performed.
  • Build long-term customer relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Meet sales and customer satisfaction goals while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized, efficient, and customer-focused service department.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous automotive Service Manager/Advisor, Service Writer experience preferred.
  • Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information in a customer-friendly manner.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Automotive industry experience preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
