Job description

The responsibilities of an Assistant Service Advisor include greeting customers, listening to their needs, and scheduling appointments as needed. They may also set up loaner cars and verify insurance before maintenance is scheduled.
Hollingsworth Richards Ford is looking for a motivated, customer focused individual to join our award winning service department as an Assistant Service Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast paced environment, and wants to build a long term career with opportunities for advancement.
As an Assistant Service Advisor, you will work alongside our experienced service advisors while receiving hands on training in several key areas of our service department.
You Will Be Cross Trained In:
  • Assistant Service Advisor
  • Cashier
  • Loaner Vehicle Coordinator
  • Mobile Service Advisor

This cross training allows you to gain valuable experience throughout the service department while preparing you for future advancement opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Assist service advisors with customer communication and repair order management
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate vehicle repairs
  • Process customer payments accurately
  • Coordinate loaner vehicle reservations and returns
  • Assist with Mobile Service and Pick up & Delivery scheduling and customer updates
  • Help ensure an exceptional customer experience from arrival through vehicle pickup
  • Work closely with advisors, technicians, and management to keep operations running efficiently

Qualifications:
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Automotive or dealership experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
