Service Advisor Trainee


About the Role

The Service Advisor Trainee supports the service team while learning dealership processes, customer communication, and repair order workflow. This role prepares for advancement into a full-Service Advisor position.


Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with customer check-in and documentation.
  • Learn repair order creation and estimate building.
  • Support MPI communication to customers.
  • Coordinate internal communication with technicians.
  • Learn scheduling and appointment processes.
  • Assist with customer updates and follow-up.
  • Shadow experienced Service Advisors.
  • Support service drive organization and vehicle staging.
  • Assist with closing repair orders.
  • Learn warranty and compliance basics.


Additional Responsibilities

Support service drive cleanliness and workflow.
