Software Engineering Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-looking Software Engineering Manager to own and lead the delivery, scaling, and evolution of enterprise digital solutions. This role is responsible for driving technical execution, engineering excellence, and platform modernization while leading a high-performing engineering team. The successful candidate will partner across Product, Architecture, Data & AI, and Platform Engineering teams to deliver business outcomes through modern software engineering practices. This individual will play a critical role in shaping technology strategy, accelerating delivery, and driving adoption of AI-enabled engineering capabilities across the software development lifecycle.

What You Will Do
Engineering Delivery & Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a distributed engineering team across application, platform, and integration domains.
  • Own delivery commitments, execution plans, engineering quality, and platform evolution.
  • Establish delivery governance, Agile practices, and release management processes.
  • Drive prioritization across business requirements, scalability initiatives, and technical debt reduction.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Product & Technology Roadmap
  • Define and execute product and technology roadmaps aligned to business priorities.
  • Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to translate business requirements into engineering outcomes.
  • Drive modernization and platform simplification initiatives.
  • Manage dependencies across Product, Architecture, Data & AI, and Platform organizations.
  • Ensure technology investments support long-term scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Architecture & Platform Excellence
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native, API-first, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Ensure applications are scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable.
  • Partner with Enterprise and Platform Architects to establish technical direction and standards.
  • Lead architectural reviews and solution design discussions.
  • Establish best practices for observability, performance, reliability, and operational readiness.

AI Adoption & Engineering Innovation
  • Champion adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices across the software development lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and implement tools that increase developer productivity and software quality.
  • Partner with Data Science and Data Engineering teams to deliver AI-enabled solutions.
  • Establish governance and best practices for responsible AI usage.
  • Stay current on emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities for business impact.

Stakeholder Partnership & Communication
  • Serve as the primary engineering point of contact across business and technology teams.
  • Communicate delivery status, risks, mitigation plans, and roadmap progress to leadership.
  • Drive alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Build strong partnerships across Product, Architecture, Data & AI, and Platform teams.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 8 years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in an engineering leadership role.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale software applications and platforms.
  • Strong experience with .NET / ASP.NET Core, C#, REST APIs, and modern application architectures.
  • Experience building and operating cloud-native applications.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and software delivery processes.
  • Experience leading Agile teams and managing cross-functional delivery.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience building AI-enabled products or integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with Azure AI Services, Databricks, Snowflake, and MLOps practices.
  • Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and modern integration patterns.
  • Experience managing global or distributed engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, observability, and performance engineering.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $166,300.00 - $249,600.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
