Job Title: 5G Core Engineer with RAN integration experience

Location: Denver , CO

Duration: 6 / 12 Month Contract

Job Description:

Role and responsibilities:

  • Engineers are responsible for the production and ongoing maintenance of a website platform.
  • They also manage cloud infrastructure and system administration and work with teams to identify and repair issues on an as-needed basis, so strong communication skills are important in this position.
  • They are generally expected to work well under pressure with tight deadlines for certain tasks, and a proactive demeanor and friendly disposition are also helpful. Engineers may work with junior and senior engineers, project managers, and executives, as well as administrative assistants, executive assistants, and receptionists.
  • Hours can be flexible, though they typically work during regular weekly business hours, and they are not usually responsible for customer/client interaction or supervising junior employees. Develop comprehensive architecture and operational documentation.
  • Define design standards for WiFi infrastructure.
  • Support Wireless Access Gateway architecture.
  • Provide domain expertise for troubleshooting and optimization. Support routing, switching, firewall, and wireless backbone.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents and performance issues.
  • Capacity planning and network optimization. Support high availability and redundancy design.
  • Work closely with operations and infrastructure teams.
  • Support 5G Core components (AMF, SMF, UPF, PCF, NRF, etc.) Assist with RAN integration and performance tuning.
  • Troubleshoot signaling and data path issues.
  • Ensure alignment with 3GPP standards.
  • Provide strategic guidance for 5G scalability and optimization.
