Parallel Wireless is seeking a highly driven Senior Program Manager to lead strategic programs within our U.S. Federal Solutions Group. This role oversees programs from initial capture through final delivery, ensuring execution excellence and alignment with business, financial, and customer objectives. The Senior Program Manager will drive program performance across cost, schedule, and technical execution while serving as the primary interface to federal and defense customers. This role is based out of our Head Quarters office in Nashua, NH, 45 miles north of Boston.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end execution of complex Open RANโ€“based 5G/6G programs supporting federal and defense customers.
  • Own program cost, schedule, and technical performance from initiation through delivery.
  • Develop and manage program plans, baselines, and execution for firm-fixed-price and cost-plus contracts.
  • Ensure delivery of contractual milestones, deliverables, and performance objectives.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface and lead program reviews on technical progress, cost, schedule, and risk.
  • Support contract negotiations and modifications, aligning scope, terms, and financial conditions.
  • Drive program financial performance, including orders, revenue, margin, and cash flow.
  • Manage risks, opportunities, and trade-offs while identifying follow-on business opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, contracts, and supply chain to ensure successful program execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s degree in electrical engineering or similar engineering field with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience
  • Expertise in wireless communication systems, Open RAN, 5G/6G technologies, or related networking domains.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex programs with multimillionโ€‘dollar budgets and multiโ€‘stakeholder environments.
  • U.S. Citizen with active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearance at Secret or higher level.

  • Experience managing DoW development projects for RF communications, networking, or cellular applications.
  • Solid technical background in RF communications with strong business acumen
  • Knowledge of Government contracting practices and Earned Value Management (EVMS)
  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, and the Microsoft Office suite of applications Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
