The candidate will work with a small team of software developers to implement major new product features.ย  As part of a product development team, this candidate will be actively involved with product development activities including design, development, coding and testing of 5G MAC algorithms and embedded software on a Linux-based platform for 5G cellular products.
Responsibilities
  • ยงย  Design, development and debugging of high performance, robust software for cellular 5G products
  • ยงย  Lead and perform project tasks associated with the research, design, development,ย  analysis, and operation of 5G based wireless communications solutionsย 
  • ยงย  Develop technical concepts and proposals for wireless communications implementations
  • ยงย  Perform technical analysis and review of technical concepts related to 5G software design
  • ยงย  Participate in inventive aspects for future products and / or features
  • ยงย  Work with system architects on feature design and implementation
  • ยงย  Analyze product requirement specifications and translate requirements to task specifications
  • ยงย  Understand customer Use Cases and design proper workflows for overall system performance
  • ยงย  Provide assistance to test teams and support personnel as needed to achieve project objectives
Qualifications
  • ยงย  BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline (equivalent)
  • ยงย  2+ years of direct software development experience
  • ยงย  Direct experience with LTE or 5G stack implementation
  • ยงย  Experience and knowledge in a broad range of wireless communications
  • ยงย  Experience in development of real time software in Linux environment
  • ยงย  Software design and programming in C++ with strong object-oriented philosophy
  • ยงย  Strong teamwork, communication and leadership skills
  • ยงย  Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skill
