We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to play a key role in advancing Trove Brands' analytics and data strategy. This individual will help drive data governance, data quality, and scalable analytics solutions while serving as a cross-functional data champion across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide recommendations to enhance the company's Analytics strategy, including adoption of new tools & processes.
  • Help develop, implement, and maintain best practices for data governance and data quality.
  • Provide training and mentorship for Analytics Engineers & Analysts throughout the company.
  • Data analysis and report development, including high visibility, cross-departmental dashboards.
  • Data modeling and ETL development, ensuring accurate and quality data for Trove reporting needs.
  • Become a data champion, forging connections between departments and business processes to steer data-driven improvements at an organizational level.
  • Communicate recommendations for change based on personal analysis and investigated trends.

 

Requirements:

  • Advanced SQL experience, including expertise querying, optimizing, cleaning, and validating large volumes of data.
  • Data modeling & data warehouse development experience, particularly with modern cloud-based technologies (Snowflake preferred).
  • Solid programming skills with Python or other programming languages.
  • Experience with GitLab or other version control system.
  • Experience with Airflow or other orchestration platforms.
  • Experience working with modern AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)
  • Ability to create compelling and easy to understand data visualizations.
  • Proven ability to implement and maintain complex BI solutions.
  • Proactive work ethic and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Fast learner who can gain a deep understanding of business processes and solve problems quickly with minimal supervision.
  • Prior analytics experience in any of the following areas is a plus – ERP (Acumatica preferred), Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, or Marketing.
  • Experience with predictive analytics is a plus.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical details to a non-technical audience.
  • Exhibit professionalism while dealing with customers and coworkers, including with confidentiality.
