They typically have several years of experience, advanced training in child development, and may take on additional responsibilities such as managing schedules, assisting with homework, and organizing activities. Senior Nannies often serve as role models and mentors for junior nannies or new caregivers, and they may also handle more complex needs for families. Their expertise allows them to handle a wide range of situations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the children in their care.

These skills and qualities are essential for providing safe, attentive care while supporting the household's unique needs and routines.
