We are looking for a Senior Learning Consultant II (Dedicated) to join our Learning Services Dedicated Consulting team and support large institutions across markets including K12, Higher Ed, Business & Government. As a Senior Learning Consultant, you will deepen and elevate client use of Instructure products-driving adoption, organizational transformation, and impactful learning outcomes-through project management, change leadership, customized consultation, resource development, pedagogical expertise, and hands-on targeted coaching. You will play a vital role leading positive change, enhancing learner engagement, and tailoring both the content and the customer experience to meet specific institutional goals.
What you will be doing:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand and prioritize their needs, providing exceptional value and a positive consulting experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create and execute detailed communication, training, and engagement plans.
  • Provide change leadership using the Instructure Success Model to support client vision and institutional goals.
  • Analyze data to align efforts with client objectives, track impact, identify challenges, and recommend targeted strategies for success.
  • Mentor and motivate institution leaders, faculty, designers, and staff, inspiring educators to achieve measurable success with Instructure products.
  • Customize deliverables to client use cases, goals, and plans; design and facilitate effective consulting sessions connecting product usage to best instructional practices.
  • Follow up after sessions to monitor progress and ensure continued success.
  • Work cross-functionally with Instructure teams and customers to optimize product usage across organizations.
  • Tackle a variety of tasks to support client rollout while upholding internal procedures, security/privacy protocols, and institutional policies.
  • Travel as needed to support on-site rollout and implementation.
  • Understand business functions, identify support needs, and recommend additional consulting when necessary.
  • Develop actionable insights and solutions using critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Build capacity at client sites for sustainable success after the consulting period ends.
  • Lead team subject matter experts, improve workflows, update documentation, support use of AI-driven knowledge base, and communicate changes effectively.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of revenue, forecasting, and budgeting concepts.
  • Serve as a liaison between dedicated and flexible learning consultant services.
  • Update team resources in line with branding, style guides, and product updates.
  • Project manage key team or departmental projects.

What you will need to know/have:
  • Minimum 5 years of Instructure product experience, with demonstrated ability to create engaging Canvas courses that are responsive, accessible, and inclusive.
  • At least 1 year of experience with other Instructure tools.
  • At least 1 year in an educational leadership position managing a team using an LMS for pedagogical purposes (more preferred).
  • Experience leading change, building relationships, and driving technology adoption at a large organization.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional development creation/delivery for educators.
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, including with digital learning environments.
  • Current knowledge of technology adoption, professional development strategies, and edtech best practices.
  • Impeccable executive presence and superior verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong creative thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail; ability to elicit cooperation among stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effective task prioritization and execution in high-pressure/ambiguous environments.
  • Experience delivering high-quality professional presentations.
  • Proactive and flexible approach to project changes and new challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology or equivalent required; Master's in Educational Leadership or Instructional Technology preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed, including possible extended on-site engagements.
