Position Overview

The Senior Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting of nursing healthcare professionals across travel, local, and permanent opportunities. This role is ideal for a proven agency recruiter who can hit the ground running, build strong candidate pipelines, and consistently deliver high-quality placements.


You’ll play a critical role in driving revenue, supporting clients, and elevating the candidate experience—all while operating in a metrics-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for healthcare professionals

  • Source, screen, and place candidates across travel, local, and permanent roles

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates

  • Develop relationships with healthcare professionals to understand career goals and match opportunities

  • Partner closely with account managers and sales teams to fulfill client needs quickly and effectively

  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly recruiting KPIs (submittals, placements, revenue, etc.)

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in ATS/CRM systems

  • Stay informed on industry trends, pay packages, and market conditions

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through placement


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in healthcare agency recruiting (required)

  • Proven success placing allied, nursing, or locum tenens professionals

  • Strong understanding of healthcare staffing workflows and urgency

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance metrics in a staffing environment

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and competitive environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in travel healthcare staffing

  • Familiarity with modern sourcing tools, job boards, and CRM/ATS platforms

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
