Senior Asset Manager:

Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for a Senior Asset Manager to join our US team. The Senior Asset Manager acts as the team lead and primary point of contact for customer inquiries, acts to maintain customer relationships, leads or managers flow of projects, ensures budgets, margins, and timelines are met, and personnel resources are available. They are also responsible for sourcing out new opportunities within a customer's facility, quoting jobs, and following up with customers. This role has a requirement to travel at some level of frequency annually.

What will do you as the Senior Asset Manager?

  • Contract management
  • Manage asset managers under team. Scope to include training , day to day management, and performance assessment.
  • Considered tier 2 support for asset managers and technicians
  • Monitor team (Key Performance Index) KPIs and lead process improvement
  • Provide data/ KPI feedback to support and enhance back-office efficiency and corporate initiatives
  • Manage multi team special projects to target margin and revenue improvement
  • Contract management
  • Detailed understanding of all obligations including service responsibilities, response times, reporting scope of work, billing rates, termination clauses, etc.
  • Customer direct contact
  • Technical ownership:
  • Project electrical and mechanical design
  • Operational understanding (design theory)
  • Management of site turnover documentation
  • Spare parts management (procurement and inventory)
  • Warranty and RMA tracking
  • Recommendations and suggestions for improvement
  • Site safety and documentation
  • Asset operating plans
  • Preventative maintenance obligations and scheduling
  • Corrective maintenance strategy (change order management, fixed price projects, etc.)
  • Ticket management, escalation and close out
  • Capital expenditure/Operational expenditure recommendations and management
  • Co-ordination with field service dispatching
  • Financial accountability (Project & Portfolio level P&L
  • Preventative maintenance tracking
  • Corrective maintenance job tracking
  • Subcontractor management
  • Quoting and procurement for chargeable service work
  • Performance/Availability guarantee (if applicable)
  • Operational requirements
  • Review and delivery (if applicable) of all field reporting
  • Review of production and performance reporting (if applicable)
  • Daily monitoring of SCADA (in parallel with Operations Centre's (ROC) monitoring platform.
  • Travel to customer assets as required
