This role is responsible for the evaluation and restructuring of distressed commercial debt on individual and groups of properties for major banks, REITs, hedge funds and insurance companies. The position manages the performance of a complex, diversified portfolio, including Residential Transitional Loans (RTLs), Build-to-Rent (B2R) loans, Multi-Family loans, Single-Family Rental (SFR) loans and other structured loan products.

The Senior Asset Manager proactively evaluates portfolio risk, identifying emerging market opportunities and leveraging data-driven insights to guide investment strategies. The position is accountable for driving portfolio growth through advanced financial analysis, strategic asset disposition structuring and high-level collaboration with clients and internal leadership.

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/GED)
  • 5+ years’ experience in asset management, investment management or related field
  • 4+ years’ experience in the mortgage servicing industry
  • Strong understanding of loan documentation and real estate from a business perspective
  • Strong experience with various loan servicing systems (e.g., MSP, TMO, Fiserv, FICS)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced work environment
  • Prior experience in private lending is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to facilitate meetings and effectively lead discussions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization
  • Strong problem solving, data collection, analysis and decision-making skills; ability to analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities
  • Solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and manage shifting priorities
