As a self-employed therapist, you will have the opportunity to independently provide professional mental health services to clients. Role Description

This is a contract role for therapists, providing in-person services on-site in Linthicum, MD. Responsibilities include conducting individual, group, or family therapy sessions, creating customized treatment plans, performing assessments, and maintaining client records in compliance with confidentiality guidelines. You will utilize evidence-based techniques to address diverse client needs, collaborate with other professionals as needed, and deliver high-quality mental health care.


Qualifications

  • Strong clinical skills in psychotherapy, counseling, and mental health assessment
  • Ability to develop personalized treatment plans and use evidence-based therapeutic techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
  • Familiarity with maintaining accurate and confidential client records
  • Licensure in the state of Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) or Licensed Psychologist
  • Proficiency with modern therapeutic tools and approaches such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR is a plus
  • Ability to work independently while managing a diverse caseload
  • Experience in trauma-focused care or a specialized therapeutic area is a bonus
