Job description

Security Sales Consultant

Sales Role:

  • Expand and enhance services and project outcomes for existing electronic security customers under the Independent Alarm security business model.
  • Generate new business through consultations with potential customers.
  • Advise and consult with customers on the best products and services to meet their needs.
  • Follow up on company-generated leads and determine appropriate products and services.
  • Generate new customer leads through referrals, networking, and prospecting activities.
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Operations Team for successful project deployments and ongoing service.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to network and build expertise.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in electronic security, or technology-based experience is a plus.
  • Strong time management and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to develop objectives and strategies and manage one's own performance.
  • Work collaboratively within a team.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to travel locally throughout the Greater Philadelphia area
  • Successful completion of a drug test and background check
