- Create, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures

Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards, OSHA, and security best practices
- Prepare for and support audits or inspections
Technology & Systems Management
- Oversee security technology infrastructure (access control, video systems, monitoring platforms)
- Evaluate new technologies to improve security effectiveness

Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of credentials, incidents, inspections, and audits

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement or military (3-5+ years)
- Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with access control systems, video surveillance systems, alarm and intrusion detection systems
- Leadership: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage personnel and vendor relations
- Financial Acumen: Strong ability to manage budgets, analyze expenses, and negotiate vendor contracts
