The Position: Security

Position Overview:
AKIRA Security plays a vital dual role in protecting the store's assets and supporting smooth store operations. This role requires a sharp eye, a strong presence, and a flexible, hard-working attitude. You'll be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, deterring theft, and helping the team with stock handling and store maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and survey the store floor to prevent both internal and external theft

  • Maintain a professional, firm, and visible presence throughout the store

  • Act quickly and confidently in situations that require confrontation or escalation

  • Assist with stock processing and replenishment, including lifting up to 75+ lbs.

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment

  • Support general store maintenance and other operational tasks as needed

  • Communicate effectively with store leadership and team members

  • Demonstrate strong judgment and decision-making with little to no direction

  • Uphold AKIRA's standards and policies with consistency and integrity
