Allied Universal is hiring a Physical Security Manager. The primary responsibility of the Physical Security Manager is to manage and train the AUS (Allied Universal) personnel on the Physical Security team. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Physical Security Program Leader and GIS (GLOBAL INTEGRATED SERVICES) - Security Function on a global level.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the Allied Universal Physical Security team members
  • Works with the Physical Security Program Leader to develop long-term relationships with Cummins physical security partners and equipment manufacturers
  • Ensure security technology and systems are adequately managed, controlled, vetted, and tested
  • Oversee and manage the completion of security projects
  • Support, strategize, and develop the Physical Security team under the Physical Security Program Leader
  • Manage scheduling: Leverage AI-powered technology to effectively schedule security officers, meeting client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime
  • Lead and Develop Security Teams: Hire, coach and manage security officers and supervisors while overseeing payroll, performance, and employee relations
  • Enhance Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service that protects people and property
  • Handle Security Incidents and Emergencies: Respond to escalated issues professionally, coordinating with clients and internal teams
  • Direct Compliance and Security Operational Excellence: Oversee training, safety, and site operational standards as well as managing inventory (uniforms, equipment, and other essential supplies)

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • 21 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Quick learning ability coupled with a passion for taking on new projects.
  • People skills with focused attention on customer need to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and communication.
  • Proficiency in computer software and technology, including Zoom and Microsoft Office applications and Teams.
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for remote work.
  • Thrives in a remote work from home environment and has flexibility in schedule to work after hours.
  • A background in security management and security system design and integration is preferred.
  • Must have previous experience managing and working knowledge of enterprise level security systems.
  • Must be able to attend and obtain certifications/training for the above systems.
  • Must attend CPTED course.
  • Must have an ASIS membership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • College degree in Business Administration or a law enforcement-related field
  • Law enforcement, military, and/or contract or proprietary security services, or facility management experience
  • American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification
  • Previous payroll, billing, or scheduling experience
  • Aptitude with security systems: CCTV, access control, and badge administration
  • Graduate of certified public safety academy (e.g., Law Enforcement, Firefighter/Paramedic, Corrections Officer)
