Job description

The Security Systems Installer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading various security systems primarily for commercial sites. Working as part of a large team, this role involves hands-on tasks such as wiring, equipment testing, and troubleshooting integrated systems including CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarms. Regional travel is expected to support installations across different locations.

Responsibilities

  • Install and wire security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
  • Test equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep systems functional
  • Implement system upgrades and enhancements as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with security equipment
  • Document installation processes, configurations, and service reports
  • Collaborate effectively with a team of 4 or more installers on-site
  • Travel regionally to various commercial installation locations

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in security systems installation
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CCTV installation
  • Knowledge of access control and alarm systems
  • Familiarity with electrical wiring standards
