Position Summary

The Seasonal Retail Clerk supports the retail operations at Nick's Fish House during our busy season. This role is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash transactions accurately, maintaining merchandise displays, and assisting with inventory management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests in the retail area in a friendly, professional manner
  • Operate POS system efficiently and accurately
  • Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions in accordance with company procedures
  • Maintain organized and visually appealing merchandise displays
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking and inventory counts
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail and surrounding areas
  • Answer guest questions about merchandise and promotions
  • Support management with sales tracking and retail reporting as needed
  • Work as part of a team-service approach
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor, embodying Nick's values of Excellence, Teamwork, Respect, and Accountability

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1–2 years of prior retail or sales experience required
  • Experience handling cash and operating a POS system
