About the Role:

Source Logistics is seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing commercial team. The SDR will play a critical role in driving company growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers while supporting the expansion of our sales pipeline and revenue-generating opportunities.

This position serves as the bridge between marketing and sales by converting Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), generating new business opportunities, and supporting the development of a healthy sales pipeline. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a metrics-driven environment, and is eager to contribute to the continued growth of a fast-paced logistics organization.

Responsibilities:

· Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts, including phone calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other sales engagement strategies.

· Follow up on inbound marketing leads and evaluate their potential fit for Source Logistics solutions.

· Convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) through effective discovery and qualification processes.

· Research target accounts, industries, and decision-makers to develop personalized outreach strategies.

· Schedule qualified meetings and sales opportunities for Business Development and Account Management teams.

· Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, activities, pipeline stages, and opportunities within HubSpot CRM.

· Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align messaging and improve lead conversion rates.

· Consistently meet or exceed established activity, pipeline generation, and SQL targets.

· Track, analyze, and report on outreach performance metrics while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

· Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive market developments within logistics and supply chain services.

Requirements:

· 1-3 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Lead Generation, Inside Sales, or a similar customer-facing sales role.

· Experience prospecting and qualifying leads in a B2B environment.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.

· Highly organized with strong time management and follow-up skills.

· Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.

· Experience using CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and sales engagement tools.

· Ability to research prospective customers and identify business opportunities.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to manage multiple prospecting activities while maintaining accurate CRM data and pipeline visibility.

· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

· 10% travel

· This role is base salary + variable compensation.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience within logistics, transportation, warehousing, supply chain, or third-party logistics (3PL) industries.

· Previous experience working with HubSpot CRM, sales automation tools, and outbound prospecting platforms.

· Experience supporting lead generation campaigns and marketing-driven sales initiatives.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred

Salary range for this role is:
$70,000—$85,000 USD
