PT Scanning Clerk

Bohemia Store

The Scanning Clerk is responsible for maintaining pricing integrity throughout the store. This includes performing aisle scanning audits, processing weekly price updates, verifying promotional accuracy, and ensuring all items are properly tagged and scanned. This individual also provides courteous customer assistance and communicates effectively across departments to resolve discrepancies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately complete all weekly price changes transmitted to the store file, identifying and correcting discrepancies

  • Maintain pricing accuracy to align with weekly sales, circulars, and advertised promotions

  • Manage UPC tags by separating, sorting, and properly placing updated labels

  • Ensure all items on the sales floor are correctly signed, tagged, and scanning accurately

  • Perform weekly aisle scanning audits to verify pricing file accuracy

  • Maintain detailed and organized department records, including weekly pricing log updates

  • Provide prompt, courteous customer service and assist with price checks as needed

  • Support cross-department communication to resolve pricing or signage issues

  • Perform additional duties as assigned
