is assisting with the recruitment and training for
Aerowerks Corporation of America
Aerowerks Corporation of America is locating a new manufacturing facility in Cherokee County. Aerowerks specializes in the design and manufacture of material handling systems for the food industry. Aerowerks has earned a solid reputation for innovative and efficient material handling systems. Renowned for our quality craftsmanship and strong engineering base, we continue to be selected over the international competition with systems installed on 6 continents.
Potential employment opportunities exist for:
Brake Press Operator
Job Duties:
  • Operate Accurpress CNC brake press
  • Set dies and create load cutting programs for accurate forming of parts
  • Interpret and follow shop drawings & use measuring tools to produce constant quality parts
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and keep a clean and organized work area
  • Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment
  • Work collaboratively and demonstrate consistent reliability
  • Required to learn and operate Mitsubishi laser cutting machine as part of this position
  • Must be prepared to work in other areas and departments in the facility if asked to do so

Experience Required:
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience with metal forming brake press equipment
  • Accurpress experience preferred
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical/shop drawings
  • Proven attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be enthusiastic, flexible, punctual and ready to learn new skills
