Aerowerks Corporation of America
Aerowerks Corporation of America is excited to be opening a new manufacturing facility in Cherokee County. Aerowerks specializes in designing and manufacturing custom material handling and dishwashing conveyor systems for the food industry. Known for our craftsmanship, engineering excellence, and innovative solutions, Aerowerks systems are installed on six continents, and we continue to grow!
We are currently seeking the following to join our expanding team in Gaffney, SC:
Assembly Electrician/Panel Builder
About the Role:
In this role, you will help bring custom conveyor systems to life. Every project is unique, offering hands-on variety and the opportunity to work closely with a skilled team. After fabrication and testing in our Gaffney facility, systems are disassembled and installed at our customer sites. Some travel within the U.S. is an essential and rewarding part of this position!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electrical control panels and install switches, sensors, and AC motors
  • Run conduit, pull wires, and perform system energizing and testing
  • Install brackets, hangers, and junction boxes
  • Maintain a well-organized inventory of components and tools
  • Read and interpret schematics, circuit diagrams, and wiring layouts
  • Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and clamps
  • Work with VFDs and assist with PLC troubleshooting
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
  • Support other departments when needed
  • Required travel within the U.S. for final installation at customer sites

What You Will Bring:
  • 2-3 years of electrical experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Recent graduates with relevant training or apprenticeship experience are also encouraged to apply!
  • Strong skills in control panel assembly and electrical installation
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and use electrical diagnostic tools
  • Experience with PLCs and VFDs is a plus!
  • Willingness to travel as part of the project installation process
