Job description

We are seeking a talented Apparel Designer to join a growing young women's apparel manufacturer in Downtown Los Angeles. This role will focus on juniors and young women's categories, creating trend-right product from initial concept through production. About the Role This role will focus on juniors and young women's categories, creating trend-right product from initial concept through production. Responsibilities Research market trends, competitive brands, color, print, and silhouette direction. Design seasonal collections across young women's and juniors categories. Develop product from concept through production, following the line plan and development calendar. Create and update detailed flats, CADs, tech packs, line sheets, and presentation materials. Partner with merchandising, sales, and product development on product direction, sales samples, and key milestones. Attend fittings and communicate design intent, construction details, and fit direction clearly. Work with fabric, print, and trim development to ensure product is on-brand and commercially viable. Qualifications 5+ years of women's apparel design experience; juniors or young women's experience strongly preferred. Degree in Fashion Design or related field. Required Skills Advanced Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong knowledge of garment construction, fitting, fabric, prints, trims, and sourcing. Strong eye for trend, color, silhouette, and compelling product stories. Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative. Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills. Must be able to work onsite in Downtown Los Angeles full-time.
