Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst in Armonk, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead discovery sessions, SME interviews, and cross-functional workshops to understand current processes, pain points, policies, systems, data, controls, and desired outcomes
* Map end-to-end processes using Lucidchart, Miro, or comparable tools and identify decision points, rules, exceptions, handoffs, controls, and automation opportunities
* Assess candidate processes and technical environments for Agentforce suitability, POC priority, delivery complexity, expected value, level of effort, dependencies, and squad needs
* Translate discovery findings into process assessments, POC hypotheses, scope recommendations, assumptions, risks, and outcome measures
* Write enterprise Salesforce requirements, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, process flows, and data or integration requirements
* Write automation and agent requirements rather than simple CRUD stories by separating deterministic rules from exceptions and defining confidence thresholds, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop escalation
* Define agent use cases, user journeys, topics, actions, instructions, grounding needs, escalation paths, expected outcomes, and measurable acceptance criteria
* Build and maintain requirements-traceability matrices linking SOPs, process steps, requirements, stories, designs, test cases, defects, and release decisions
* Manage story lifecycle and traceability in GUS, or rapidly adopt GUS based on equivalent Jira or Azure DevOps experience
* Partner with architects and developers during POCs, review demonstrations, identify gaps, and write or refine stories after working prototypes reveal the appropriate solution
* Frame ROI, business value, level of effort, risk, and readiness to help stakeholders prioritize use cases and delivery sequencing
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of enterprise Salesforce business-analysis, functional-consulting, process-analysis, or product-analysis experience
* Strong Salesforce BA craft, including requirements elicitation, user stories, acceptance criteria, process mapping, business rules, data and integration requirements, and traceability to SOPs
* Experience defining automation, AI-agent, or intelligent-workflow requirements, including rules versus exceptions, deterministic-first design, confidence thresholds, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop escalation
* Experience managing story lifecycle and traceability in GUS, Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable enterprise Agile tooling, including development of a requirements-traceability matrix
* Strong discovery and workshop-facilitation skills with the ability to map end-to-end processes in Lucidchart, Miro, or comparable tools
* Ability to assess process readiness, business value, ROI, level of effort, risk, and delivery complexity to support prioritization and squad planning
* Experience partnering with architects and developers in POC-first environments where requirements may be refined after prototype demonstrations
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with SMEs, executives, architects, developers, testers, and distributed delivery teams
* Ability to thrive in incomplete-requirements environments, manage ambiguity, and maintain clear decisions and traceability in a Slack-first working model
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Source-to-Pay processes, including purchase intake requests, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, accounts payable, expense, or partner operations
* Experience with Agentforce, Data Cloud, Salesforce for Slack, MuleSoft, process mining, or AI-enabled business-process transformation
* Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, AI Specialist, or related certifications
