Job Title: Sr. Salesforce Business Analyst

Location: Boston, MA (Need Local)

Duration: 12 months

Job Type: 1099/W2/Own Corp

Job description

Client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to support and optimize an established Salesforce environment that has been in place for over 10 years. This individual will play a key role in driving enhancements across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Field Service while partnering closely with business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on Business Analyst who enjoys working directly with the business, taking ownership of initiatives from concept through deployment, and driving measurable outcomes. The client is not looking for a 20+ year techno-functional consultant, but rather someone who is in the trenches, highly motivated, and eager to make an impact.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and identify opportunities for Salesforce optimization.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of new Salesforce functionality and enhancements.
  • Support initiatives across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Field Service.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements and user stories.
  • Work closely with development teams and system owners to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Understand and evaluate system integrations from a business and functional perspective.
  • Drive projects forward independently and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business partners while helping shape and improve business processes.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Business Analyst experience with a strong focus on Salesforce.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce Service Cloud and/or Field Service initiatives.
  • Ability to gather requirements, document processes, and manage projects through implementation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working in regulated industries, preferably Life Sciences or Medical Devices.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and drive results.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce Sales Planning.

  • Experience with Salesforce Incentive Compensation (SPIFF), recently acquired by Salesforce.
  • Understanding of Salesforce integrations and connected business systems.
  • Prior Salesforce development experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Local Boston-area candidates preferred.
