Salesforce Business Analyst (BA )

As a Salesforce Business Analyst (BA), you’ll play a vital role at Flow Control Group. We are looking for a proactive individual to act as the crucial link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the Salesforce platform is optimized to meet strategic goals. They will facilitate requirement gathering, analyze business processes, and design solutions that improve efficiency, typically focusing on Salesforce Clouds like Sales, Service, or Marketing. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us; therefore, the Salesforce Business Analyst should enjoy all aspects of user management, including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction as a priority.

We are looking for someone who can learn about our current setup and our business objectives. The Salesforce Business Analyst should be comfortable with taking directions, communicating, prioritizing, and managing their day-to-day responsibilities while growing with the system and organization. The ideal candidate will be someone with an entry-level super user understanding of the Salesforce platform, looking to grow their career into a Salesforce support role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Conduct workshops to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Solution Design & Configuration: Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions, often using declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules).
  • Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and propose alternative solutions to complex, cross-functional problems.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the "voice of the customer" to the IT project team, managing expectations and priorities.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Training: Lead UAT to ensure solutions meet requirements and create training materials to support user adoption.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of processes, user stories, data models, and technical specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Generally 3-5+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2-3 years focusing on Salesforce CRM implementations.
  • Salesforce Knowledge: Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, standard objects, reports, and dashboards.
  • Methodologies: Proficient in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certifications are highly preferred.

Technical Competencies (Desirable)

  • Data Modeling: Experience with data migration, mapping, and cleansing.
  • Integration: Familiarity with integrating Salesforce with other systems (ERP, Marketing platforms).
