Location: McLean, VA (Onsite)
Position: Salesforce Business Analyst

Job Description

The Salesforce Business Analyst supports the Operations division and ongoing development of the Salesforce platform. The BA works closely with Operations leadership and management to understand business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Support multiple projects and maintain project documentation.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, priorities, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Develop and analyze business process flows and identify opportunities for process improvement/re-engineering.
  • Serve as a Salesforce Administrator in an environment with approximately 1,500 users.
  • Perform Salesforce administration including:
    • Reports
    • Dashboards
    • Workflows
    • Routine Salesforce configuration
  • Coordinate evaluation, scope, and completion of new Salesforce development requests.
  • Act as liaison between business users, vendors, and application development teams.
  • Perform or coordinate UAT / certification testing.
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and document root causes and resolutions.
  • Work with business and IT teams to create solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Develop proofs of concept (POCs) to demonstrate proposed Salesforce solutions to business stakeholders and IT review boards.
  • Assist with Salesforce user training and adoption.
Required / Preferred Skills
  • 8+ years Business Analysis experience
  • Experience working with complex data and developing workflows.
  • 1 2 years Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud administration
  • Salesforce Lightning
  • Financial Services Cloud experience preferred.
  • Requirements elicitation and documentation.
  • Functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Financial services/business domain experience.
  • Salesforce Admin or Advanced Admin certification highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
