Job description

Description

Our client is seeking a Salesforce System Administrator who can also operate with a Business Analyst mindset to support their Salesforce and nCino environments.

This role is ideal for someone who can function as a โ€œone-person shopโ€ on smaller enhancementsโ€”owning work from understanding the business need all the way through configuration and delivery.

The team is investing in this hire with the goal of long-term value and potential full-time conversion, so they are looking for someone who can truly integrate into the team and make an impact.

________________________________________

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing

โ€ข Perform hands-on Salesforce system administration:

o Configure fields (including picklists), page layouts, and permissions

o Build and maintain automations (flows, triggers, business rules)

โ€ข Act as a hybrid Admin + Analyst, owning smaller enhancements end-to-end:

o Meet with business users

o Understand requirements and pain points

o Implement configuration changes directly in Salesforce

โ€ข Review and optimize Salesforce cases and workflows (e.g., field rationalization, cleanup initiatives)

โ€ข Provide Tier 1 support to internal users across the Salesforce platform

โ€ข Collaborate with:

o Salesforce Developers

o System Administrators

o Delivery Analysts / Scrum leads

โ€ข Support process improvement initiatives, including streamlining inefficiencies and technical debt

โ€ข Potentially contribute to innovation efforts (AI, nCino enhancements) depending on experience and team needs

________________________________________

Must-Have Qualifications

โ€ข Hands-on experience as a Salesforce System Administrator

โ€ข Strong experience with:

o Field configuration, page layouts, and user access

o Salesforce automation tools (Flows, workflows, etc.)

โ€ข Ability to translate business needs into system changes (Business Analysis experience)

โ€ข Working knowledge of Salesforce data model (objects, fields, relationships)

โ€ข Ability to clearly demonstrate real-world Salesforce administration experience (not just certifications)

โ€ข Comfortable operating independently without step-by-step direction

________________________________________

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

โ€ข Experience with nCino (Consumer nCino strongly preferred):

o Deposit account opening

o Consumer lending workflows

  • History in financial services (credit union or banking)

โ€ข Exposure to AI tools, automation, or process improvement initiatives

โ€ข Salesforce Certification (Admin or similar)

________________________________________

What Makes This Role Unique

โ€ข Opportunity to work in a highly customized Salesforce + nCino environment

โ€ข Exposure to emerging AI and process optimization initiatives

โ€ข Ability to own work independently rather than just execute tickets

โ€ข Team is laid-back but highly accountableโ€”strong contributors are valued and recognized

โ€ข Clear path to long-term conversion if successful

________________________________________

What Theyโ€™re Looking For in a Candidate

โ€ข True Salesforce admin experience (must be able to speak confidently to real work)

โ€ข Self-starter mindsetโ€”able to take ownership without handholding

โ€ข Analytical thinker who can understand systems holistically

โ€ข Comfortable in a constantly evolving environment

โ€ข Collaborative, but able to independently drive work forward
