We are presently seeking an IT System Analyst - Salesforce Administrator/Developer who will work out of our corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. The IT Systems Analyst - Salesforce Administrator will join a talented and passionate global team at Excelitas Technologies and play an integral role in delivering technology enabled process transformation in partnership with the business teams, leveraging Salesforce and other applications with a focus on the front-end applications relating to marketing, sales and customer service functions. You will have the opportunity to improve business operations across all the global locations of Excelitas Technologies.

In this position, you will administer, analyze and enhance CRM platform related to both new projects and enhancement requests by tapping into your expertise to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the needs of the project stakeholders. 

To be successful, you must have demonstrated analytical and leadership skills & be able to communicate marketing, sales and customer service process topics to a broad audience at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support enhancement projects, implementations and upgrades by gathering business requirements and delivering best practice guidance, documentation, data analysis, solution recommendations, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with core IT and business teams on various projects while supporting the development and administration of our Salesforce system and related applications.
  • Document functional requirements, develop functional specs, and design, configure & test new capabilities and enhancements that improve productivity, enhance value and end-user experience, with a focus on enabling global solutions.
  • Create & execute test scenarios across various systems to validate new & updated components and ensure seamless integration.
  • Provide timely operational support for Salesforce and related applications by troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Execute data transformation and migration efforts to support M&A and other key initiatives.
  • Support data maintenance & cleansing on an ongoing basis.
  • Ability to support urgent inbound requests from multiple regions & time zones.  
  • Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
  • Conduct system demos and provide training and testing support.
  • Other related tasks as assigned by the team lead or supervisor/manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent work experience   Administrator and Platform Developer certifications preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of Salesforce CRM experience, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.  8+ years of Salesforce analyst/development experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with development release management using Copado and GitHub
  • Apex and Visualforce programming experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of SDLC project methodology (i.e.; Agile and Waterfall)
  • Demonstrated applications integration experience to build and test the end-to-end process
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integration with Pardot to automate marketing tools & processes
  • Project delivery, demo, roll out with a focus on quality user experience
  • Experience in implementations of Salesforce CPQ, and other eco-system software like Copado, Own backup, DocuSign and Conga
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed. Less than 10% of the time (international)
  • Experience with advanced approvals preferred
  • Experience with Product Database preferred
  • Experience in a multi-instance landscape for a global organization preferred
