This role is directly responsible for driving insights & analytics across key retailer, our brands, and our competition. This role will help to develop the strategy and prioritization for our sales planning through fact based analysis.

What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?

Financial Outcomes

Data Analysis & Reporting:ย Collect, analyze, and synthesize sales, customer, and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

Assortment Prioritization:ย Support the development of optimal product assortment for customers / channels by analyzing sales performance, category trends, and customer dynamics.

Customer Service

Customer Centricity: ย ย Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns using pre/post analysis, ROI assessment, and shopper behavior data; recommend strategies for future promotions.

Competitive Analysis:ย Monitor competitor activities (pricing, assortment, promotions) through internal and external data sources; deliver actionable insights to enhance our competitive advantage.

Dashboard & Tool Development:ย Build and maintain dashboards or reports that provide real-time visibility into key metrics for the sales strategy team.

Internal Processes

Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align insights and support strategic initiative including the 4P playbook and annual planning.

Strategic Leadership: ย Utilize in market data, trends, and insights, identify opportunities and deliver solutions that drive profitable category growth- shared with key internal stakeholders. Identify, Develop and Deploy 4P Playbook for Tea and Supplements categories to the sales teams across all Tata Brands.

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Location: commutable distance to Woodcliff Lake, NJ (2 days in office / week)

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Experience with CPG syndicated POS data and insights inclusive of Nielsen or customer specific data ( Luminate, IRI, 8451, etc).

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Analytical skills and computer software proficiency (e.g., Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Financial and Trade management understanding - pricing/promo strategies in dynamic categories

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Strong business agility and attention to detail

Benefits

The Total Target Compensation (TTC) at the time of hiring represents the pay range applicable upon commencement of employment. This range is effective from your hire date to March 31, 2027, and comprises both base pay and bonus pay. For further details regarding pay, please consult with your recruiter.

Final compensation for each employee will be determined based on various factors, including-but not limited to-geographical location, knowledge, skills and abilities, relevant experience, and educational background.

In addition to the Total Target Compensation, as part of Tata Consumer Products U.S. Inc., this position is eligible for our comprehensive employee benefits program.
