Position Summary

The Director, Commercial Growth & Operational Intelligence plays a strategic leadership role at the intersection of commercial growth, artificial intelligence, operational transformation, and insights innovation.

Primary Objective: Accelerate Commercial Growth and Client Value Creation
  • Partner with sales and client teams to identify growth opportunities.

  • Develop demos, proofs of concept, pitch decks and executive presentations.

  • Support pricing strategy, proposals and product innovation feedback.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Revenue growth from supported opportunities including top of funnel activities such as:

  • Outreachย 

  • Actual meetings scheduled based on outreach

  • Conversion rates of meetings to proposal

  • Proposal win-rate and methods of improvement

  • Client expansion through Service Line and Client Officer partnerships, as well as direct-to-new clients in coordination with the Global SaaS sales teamย 

Secondary Objective: Lead Operational AI Transformation
  • Implement AI agents and automation solutions.

  • Improve integrations among Salesforce, BI and resource systems.

  • Reduce manual processes and administrative burden.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Reduction in manual effort, specifically related to Resourcing and team allocations

  • Productivity gains from automation (such as measured by available time for Analysts to be empowered for deeper insights)

Tertiary Objective: Enhance Insights Delivery Through AI-Powered Innovation
  • Develop AI-assisted reporting and storytelling workflows.

  • Improve quality and consistency of client deliverables.

  • Increase scalability of insights production.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Faster and more efficient report production

  • Client retention rate increases, particularly with respect to Tier 2-4 (which have only periodic insights services inclusions)

  • Synthesio NA team adoption of AI-enabled methodologies

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, SaaS, analytics, operations, commercial strategy or related fields.

  • Strong client relationship management and executive stakeholder engagement experience.

  • Demonstrated use of AI solutions to drive business development and operational efficiency.

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and organizational change.

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
