Job description

Job Title: Principal Global Sales Strategy Analyst - IIoT

Role Summary

NXP is hiring a Principal Sales Strategy Analyst on the Industrial / IIoT side of the business. Reporting to the Chief of Staff for the CSO, this role acts as an internal consultant to the CSO's office - framing strategic questions, synthesizing markets, and translating technical complexity into decision-grade insight for senior commercial leadership across robotics, factory automation, AI, energy, and building automation.

This is a seat built for sharp early-career talent who combine a technical foundation with strategic rigor and want to take meaningful ownership inside a global commercial organization. It is a development platform, not a coordination role.

What You'll Do

  • Frame ambiguous strategic questions, build hypothesis-driven analyses, and deliver clear recommendations to the CSO and senior commercial leadership.

  • Synthesize competitive dynamics, technology shifts, and customer trends into briefing materials that inform executive decisions.

  • Engage senior leaders across product, marketing, and regional sales as a strategic thought partner, driving alignment on critical commercial questions.

  • Own ad-hoc strategy projects end-to-end, from question to recommendation to follow-through.

Who You Are

  • Curious by default. You investigate the "why" behind market shifts and aren't satisfied with the conventional answer.

  • Analytically rigorous. You think in hypotheses and frameworks, and you build a credible point of view from incomplete data.

  • Commercially grounded. You can translate technology into customer and business value, and you communicate clearly and persuasively with executives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics from a leading institution.

  • MBA from a top-tier program, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in management consulting at a top-tier firm (technology, industrial, or operations practice) - or directly relevant strategy/commercial experience in the semiconductor, software, or systems industries.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive audiences.

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.
Company benefits include health. dental, and vision insurance. 401(k), and paid leave. Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is:

$160,500 to $220,700 annually
