This critical executive will spearhead a multi-faceted technology rollout, directly impacting the evolution of our people, processes, and performance in an era defined by rapid AI and digital acceleration.
Job Overview
As the Vice President of Sales & Retention Transformation, you will be the chief architect of change for the National Sales and Strategic Alliance Group (SAG). Tasked with leading the end-to-end transformation of our sales and retention functions, you will drive organizational agility, optimize operational efficiency, and champion the ongoing evolution of our workforce. Your leadership will ensure seamless adoption of advanced technologies, including AI-powered sales and retention solutions, enabling our teams to exceed their potential in a fast-changing market.
Key Responsibilities
  • Transformation Leadership: Design and execute a comprehensive change management strategy for a multi-dimensional technology rollout aimed at simplifying processes, increasing efficiency, and reimagining the roles of Sellers and Retention Specialists.
  • AI & Technology Integration: Champion the implementation of AI, CRM, digital enablement, and data-driven decision tools across sectorized sales and retention teams. Lead efforts to embed digital selling capabilities and elevate pipeline hygiene and client targeting.
  • Evolution of Roles: Define and guide the future of sales and retention functions, ensuring clarity in role accountability and supporting the transition to digitally empowered, agile teams.
  • Change Management Excellence: Steer teams through transformation with empathy and rigor. Collaborate with HR, Strategic projects, Communications, and executive leadership to socialize changes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term scalability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with executive stakeholders, sector leads, and support functions to align transformation initiatives with Compass Group's strategic vision and financial targets.
  • Performance Measurement & Optimization: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track progress, refine strategies, and support continuous improvement. Leverage feedback loops to iterate and evolve transformational phases.
  • Organizational Design: Lead the ongoing optimization of team structures within Sales, Retention, Sales Support, and Enablement. Ensure the effective alignment of resources with AI and technology enhancements.

Qualifications and Experience
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales transformation, retention strategy, and revenue growth optimization within large, sectorized, or highly matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated success driving large-scale change management initiatives in multi-faceted technology environments, preferably with direct oversight of AI and digital sales enablement projects.
  • Deep expertise in sales process optimization, digital transformation, organizational redesign, and the implementation of CRM, analytics, and AI-powered solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders in fast-paced, complex business settings.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, with a future-focused mindset and a track record of shaping scalable, market-leading organizations.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate vision into action at every level of the organization.
