Job description

Position Summary

The SIOP Manager is responsible for leading the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process to ensure alignment across demand, supply, and financial plans. This role drives cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering to optimize inventory levels, improve forecast accuracy, and support efficient production scheduling. The SIOP Manager plays a key role in ensuring the organization can meet customer demand while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate the monthly SIOP process to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial goals.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop accurate demand forecasts and assess market trends
  • Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure capacity and material availability align with forecasted demand.
  • Analyze supply and demand data to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities; present findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop and maintain metrics to monitor forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and production performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, inventory management, and production planning processes.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to review forecasts, production plans, and inventory strategies.
  • Partner with Finance to align operational plans with business budgets and performance targets.
  • Support ERP/MRP system enhancements to improve visibility and accuracy of SIOP data.
  • Prepare and deliver regular executive summaries and performance reports for leadership review.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or operations management, with at least 3 years in a SIOP or demand planning leadership role
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration from an accredited institution
  • Manufacturing industry experience; multi-site experience a plus.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methods preferred
