Operations Manager
5 plus years of Operations, Project Management, Finance or related Project Development experience
Venteon Finance is currently seeking an Operations Manager for a growing alternative energy project development company. This position will serve as the central coordination point for fuel cell and battery energy storage projects, working across Sales, Finance, Installation, Legal, Accounting, Credit, and outside partners to successfully move projects from initial development through financing, installation, and final hand-off.
Requirements of the Operations Manager
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of operations, project/program management, finance, energy project development, capital project, or other relevant cross-functional project experience.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to understand project economics, pro formas, budgets, costs, and the financial impact of project changes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, priorities, and stakeholders across different stages of development.
  • Strong communication, organizational, Excel, and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across commercial, financial, and operational teams.

Responsibilities of the Operations Manager
  • Serve as the central coordination point for projects, connecting Sales, Finance, Installation, Legal, Accounting, Credit, and external project partners.
  • Track project schedules, milestones, dependencies, financial requirements, and open items to keep projects moving toward financing, installation, and completion.
  • Support project economics and financial analysis, including pro formas, project costs, financing information, and changes that could impact project returns or closing.
  • Coordinate project contracts, regulatory requirements, financing activities, and other documentation with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Installation Managers and other team members to transition projects through development and construction and complete the final project hand-off.
