Position Summary

The Inside Sales Manager (ISM) is a manager and sales leader responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the inside sales team. This role involves managing inside sales associates, developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring the team meets branch sales goals as well as performing individual selling efforts. The ISM will also provide training and mentoring to new salespeople and collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless sales process and outstanding customer service.

This position has played an important role in advancing Master Halco toward attaining $1Billion valuation in 2022.  The sales team's success in generating sales and providing excellence in customer service builds Master Halco's future and maintains our 60+ year heritage in the building products industry.

Leadership

  • Lead by example with intent, vision and purpose

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Lead the inside sales team to achieve branch and company sales growth goals
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of quotes, orders and other sales activities                                                                                                                  
  • Lead new product sales and new programs sales to achieve growth goals
  • Ensure an elevated level of customer service is provided using “The Master Halco Way”
  • Support Outside Sales Associates in responding to customers’ needs
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment that meets company standards
  • Ensure that proper SOPs and Company policies are followed
  • Champion technological enhancements to the business
  • Special projects as assigned by Branch Manager
  • Hire and train associates and coach them to develop their selling skills to maximize the potential of each Inside Sales Associate
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless sales process
  • Expedite resolutions and make timely decisions when customer service issues arise
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services

Required Education and Experience
