Job Title:

Operations Strategy Execution Manager

Location:

CA - Westlake Village

What you'll do:

As an Operations Strategy & Execution Manager you'll conduct detailed assessments of our current operation process on an ongoing and regular basis. You'll work with various departments to enhance and streamline the operations process for AmeriHome. You'll maintain a consistent and constant flow of communication with team members and managers. You'll participate in managing various vendors, addressing reporting needs, and leading user acceptance testing on different applications.
  • Map end-to-end workflows (source docs, field source, impacts to other roles, alerts, business rules etc.). Identify opportunities to streamline process, reduce cycle times, improve ILQA and QC quality.
  • Identify opportunities between operations and training team (Gap analysis). Coordinate application release impacts with the Training team; assist with creation of job aids as applicable.
  • Enhance user experience with Encompass and implement permanent fixes for workarounds. Identify opportunities to leverage automation with AI, robotics/machine learning. Find and vet out vendors to this regard.
  • Identify risks in our process (HMDA, CFPB, TRID etc...). Create and present relevant information (trends, accomplishments, opportunities, etc.) as needed for management meetings. Act as a liaison between operations and BSA/BI.

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of related experience in Process Analysis, Process Ownership or similar field.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including; sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
  • Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Excel VBA.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with mortgage software (Encompass).
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $92,450.00 - $114,000.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
