Regional Collections Specialist (Remote - West Coast Preferred)
Salary: $65,000 Base + Quarterly Bonus Potential

About the Role:
The company is seeking a Regional Collections Specialist to support commercial credit and collections activities across a large customer portfolio. This position combines customer relationship management, collections, credit analysis, and financial review responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making high-volume outbound calls while balancing credit decisions and customer service responsibilities.
What You'll Do:
  • Make at least 50 outbound collection calls per day
  • Review and establish credit limits for new and existing customers
  • Analyze customer financial statements and assess credit risk
  • Interpret and utilize Experian and NACM credit reports
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding balances
  • Investigate and document customer disputes and root causes
  • Maintain detailed collection notes and account documentation
  • Monitor aging reports and collection effectiveness
  • Partner with sales and operations teams to resolve account issues
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Support process improvements and departmental initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and collection procedures
What You Bring:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Credit, Collections, or Accounts Receivable
  • Minimum 4 years of customer-facing experience
  • 1-3 years of call center or high-volume phone environment experience
  • Experience utilizing Experian credit reporting tools
  • Strong financial analysis and account review capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
