Daikin Applied is seeking a Sales Application Engineer. The Sales Application Engineer will provide technical expertise on the company's products to sales representatives, guiding them in selecting and applying business-unit products to meet specific field requirements. In this role, you will implement strategies to position the product effectively in the marketplace and interact with customers, demonstrating the value of the company's product lines. Location: Staunton, VA - Hybrid
Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt, accurate support to sales representative inquiries regarding special applications, systems or pricing.
  • Process requests for modifications or options and other general information not covered by published pricing.
  • Stay informed on new products and competitive models in the marketplace.
  • Communicate suggested modifications to the company's products/services to meet customer requirements. Provide feedback to product management for product services requirements not met by the current product line.
  • Write and/or provide input to assist in preparing technical literature for internal and field applications.
  • Participate in product training of sales representatives and customers.

Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
