    For 40 years, Menehune Water Company has been Hawai‘i’s oldest and largest locally owned bottled water delivery company. We’re proud to provide high-quality bottled water and exceptional customer service to homes and businesses across the islands.

    We’re looking for a Sales & Merchandising Representative to join our Kauai Division. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, driving sales, and representing a trusted local brand.

    Position Summary

    The Sales & Merchandising Representative is responsible for developing new business, managing existing customer accounts, and maintaining product displays at retail stores throughout Kauai. This position combines sales, customer service, and merchandising responsibilities in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales Duties:

    • Promote and sell Menehune Water products and services to residential and commercial clients
    • Generate and follow up on new sales leads (including referrals and online inquiries)
    • Set up new customer accounts, process contracts, and coordinate installations
    • Install coolers, bottles, and other equipment at customer sites
    • Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients and identify upsell opportunities
    • Report sales activities, cancellations, and promotions to the Kauai Division Manager
    • Keep accurate and up-to-date client records

    Merchandising Duties:

    • Maintain and restock product displays at retail accounts
    • Set up and remove promotional displays as needed
    • Coordinate deliveries and return reusable pallets or boxes
    • Ensure product shelves are clean, organized, and visually appealing
    • Maintain company vehicle in safe, clean condition and adhere to all traffic and safety regulations

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 1–3 years of experience in sales, merchandising, or customer service
    • Valid Hawai‘i driver’s license
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated with strong time management skills
    • Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel preferred)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in beverage, food service, or route sales
    • Familiarity with Kauai retail or commercial accounts
    • Strong mechanical or installation skills (coolers, water dispensers, etc.)
