POSITION SUMMARY: Roofing Assistant supports skilled roofers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems, handling various tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in Installation and Repair: Support roofers in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing materials, including shingles, tiles, and metal roofing systems.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare and transport materials to the job site, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for the roofing team.
  • Site Maintenance: Clean and maintain work areas, ensuring that tools and equipment are organized and safe to use.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Basic Roofing Duties: Perform basic roofing tasks under the supervision of experienced roofers, such as measuring, cutting, and applying roofing materials.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
