Job description

Position Summary:

MarMac Roofing is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to specifications and MarMac quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong commercial roofing knowledge and the ability to effectively manage crews, subcontractors, materials, schedules, and jobsite conditions.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee commercial roofing projects from mobilization through completion
  • Supervise and coordinate roofing crews and subcontractors
  • Monitor workmanship, productivity, schedules, and jobsite safety
  • Review project plans, specifications, scopes, and manufacturer requirements
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, deliveries, and jobsite logistics
  • Conduct regular jobsite inspections and quality-control checks
  • Communicate project progress and issues with project management
  • Coordinate with general contractors, customers, inspectors, and other trades when necessary
  • Maintain accurate daily job reports, photos, and project documentation
  • Identify and communicate potential change-order conditions or unforeseen jobsite issues
  • Ensure projects meet manufacturer, company, OSHA, and project-specific requirements
  • Assist with punch lists and project closeout


Ideal Candidate:

Experienced in commercial roofing systems with strong field leadership and problem-solving skills. Should be comfortable managing multiple moving parts while maintaining safety, quality, production, and professionalism.
