Reporting To: Production
Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 / hour
Description
The Apprentice will assist Foreman with job site prep, tool use, and cleanup while performing physically demanding roofing tasks in varied weather conditions. Travels regionally and nationally for extended periods, operates a smartphone for communication, and excels in challenging conditions and strives for growth or promotion into Journeyman or Foreman positions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Use of various hand and power tools (wrenches, pliers, snips, knives, caulking guns, etc.).
  • Assist the Foreman with job site setup and maintenance, cleanliness and management of tools, and materials.
  • Travel regionally and nationally up to 3-4 weeks at a time.
  • Perform physically demanding roofing tasks in varied weather conditions.
  • Operate a smartphone and communicate effectively via email; Spanish bilingual a plus.
  • Full-time role with over-time opportunities.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Prior roofing or related trade experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
