Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Roofing Laborer to join our construction team. The Roofing Laborer is responsible for assisting roofers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented, outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation of roofing materials such as shingles, asphalt, metal, and other roofing systems
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites
  • Remove old roofing materials and debris
  • Set up ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies
  • Operate hand and power tools under supervision
  • Assist with waterproofing and sealing tasks as needed
  • Support skilled roofers with measurements, cutting materials, and alignment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leads

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior construction or roofing experience is a plus but not required
