A Roofer Helper supports roofing teams by performing essential tasks to ensure efficient and safe roof installation, repair, and maintenance. This entry-level role involves assisting with material handling, equipment setup, and site preparation, contributing to the overall success and safety of roofing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist roofers in carrying materials and tools to and from the work site
  • Prepare and clean work areas to maintain safety standards
  • Set up ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment as needed
  • Perform necessary duties for roof tune up 
  • Assist main team leader with all necessary functions
  • Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow
  • Roofing experience preferred but willing to train 
  • MUST NOT BE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS!!!
