Job description

Summary/Objective
National Park College is seeking a full-time Nursing Faculty for the Registered Nursing Program. This is a 9.5-month position and primary responsibilities include working with a team to create classroom and clinical learning activities.
  • Medical Surgical Classroom and Clinical

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Working with a team to create classroom and clinical learning activities.
  • Continuous review, planning, evaluation of the program for effectiveness and achievement of accreditation standards.
  • Student advising and committee service will be expected.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills/abilities:
  • Knowledge of subject matter being taught.
  • Knowledge of educational planning and teaching techniques.
  • Knowledge of learning aids and teaching materials appropriate to the subject matter.
  • Ability to develop and teach students based on assessments and evaluation.
  • Ability to evaluate progress and revise lesson plans as needed.
  • Ability to provide advice and guidance relative to the education of the student.

Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Nursing with two years clinical nursing experience but will consider baccalaureate degree in Nursing with two years of clinical nursing.
  • Must hold an unencumbered Arkansas RN license.
  • Teaching experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged sitting and standing.
  • Extensive walking.
  • Prolonged screen time.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
