Registered Nurse - Memory Care - Leader
Full Time with Benefits: 72-80 hours per 2 week pay period; typically weekdays. This position may work an occasional night or weekend to connect with staff or fill in shifts.
Flexible scheduling, allowing 4 longer days in the week if preferred. Participates in nurse on-call rotation 1 weekday per week 6pm-6am.

Come join our team! There is an exciting opportunity for you to apply for at Eagle Crest North in Onalaska. We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual to join our team of dedicated nurses serving the residents of our retirement and life community. In this role, you will primarily work with the residents in our 18 memory care apartments. Eagle Crest North has 18 memory care apartments, 42 assisted living, 70 independent living plus apartments, and 86 Senior Apartments.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the oversite and provision of medication management and treatment services, physical and behavioral assessments of the residents, actively maintaining Individual Service Plans with input from others on the care team and maintaining compliance with CBRF regulations (DHS 83) and Program Statements.
What You'll Do
  • Become familiar with each resident's care needs, work with the residents and other care providers related to medical concerns, new admission and routine assessments as well as discharge planning
  • This nurse will educate and supervise Resident Care staff in medication administration and resident care, delegating tasks as appropriate
  • Collaborate in a supportive environment with our after hours on-call Triage Nurse Team
  • Monthly Nurse meetings-a time to learn, collaborate, and advance quality initiatives together with nurses from each of our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities
What You'll Need
  • Eligible to practice nursing in the State of Wisconsin
  • The ability to think critically and problem solve with staff and available resources
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to adapt to new software
  • Experience working with geriatric population and/or memory care is beneficial, but not required. This could include Resident Care, Life Enrichment, or Nursing experience for example
  • One year of prior nursing experience preferred but not required. We will train the right fit for our team!
  • Valid driver's license and responsible driving record is required
